The Riverkeeeper store trip to La Paz, Mexico has come and gone and everyone is still alive! We were battling cooler ocean currents this year which made for less bait fish in the water and subsequently less dorado in our area at that particular time. Of course as we progressed toward the end of our trip more bait fish showed up as did more dorado - my luck indeed. The trip was not a loss however as we did catch lots of bonito, jacks, a few dorado, roosterfish, and had several shots at very large roosters. That's the best thing about fishing in the ocean, if you keep an open mind you can really have a lot of fun with different game fish species.
