This is one of the most important features inclusive to the sport of fly fishing. Equally, it is also one of the most overlooked and understated. Therefore, we have made it our mission to personally evaluate various fishing scenarios around the area, pick them apart piece-by-piece, and explain how tactics and skills apply in virtually every situation.
Nymph Skills on the Boise River in Town
Nymph fishing the Boise River in town is a great way to improve your overall ability and skill. Equally, this river produces a fair amount of quality fish throughout the upper section. From Barber Park to Logger's Creek is a great stretch of water. The fall is a nice time to fish the river - the rubber raft hatch is off the water, the flows usually come down, and nymph fishing really turns on.
